Coverage E - Personal Liability Coverage
It's personal
This portion of your homeowners insurance policy provides protection against lawsuits for bodily injury or property damage you or other household members may cause to others. Make sure your finances are protected with liability coverage from one of our carrier partners.
Legal Protection when it matters most
Here's What's Covered
Coverage E (personal liability) ensures you have peace of mind should an accident occur and cause personal property damage or bodily injury to someone not residing in your home.
For example; if someone is injured slipping on a wet floor in your kitchen or your child breaks a neighbor’s window while playing ball, this coverage may pay for medical bills or repair/replacement costs and cover legal fees if you are sued.
How Much Coverage Do I Need?
Typical policies offer $100,000 in liability protection to start. Several of our carrier partners offer increased limits in personal liability coverage from $300,000 to $500,000 with their Premium Package options.
